I saw Samuel compete in Los Angeles at the 2009 World Championships, and I’m now a new fan… A big fan! I loved Samuel’s programs, I love his skating, his personality. I attended all his practices and couldn’t stop watching… so beautiful spins and consistent jumps. A total package! Wow!!! Me and my friends cheered very loud for him! We were sitting on the short side of the arena, opposite to the kiss and cry.
Throughout the week, I had the chance to speak with Samuel a few times. I kept trying to get a copy of his fan postcard, but Samuel didn’t have them with him at the time. He promised though that he would send me one if I wrote to him! Is this the right place to write? I would love, love, love to get an autographed postcard!!
I would be happy to send you an envelop with a stamp if you want. Just let me know…
I’m already looking forward to next year. I really hope that Samuel will come compete at Skate Canada!!
Samuel’s skating truly touched me a lot and I can’t wait to see more. I sure will be telling all my friends to watch for him next year!! Samuel, I think you will surprise a lot of people next year!!

Che dire: STRAORDINARIO!!!!! Dinamico, brillante o detto in parole grezze: UN TORO SCATENATO! Così si fa!
Finalmente l’Italia ha un’atleta con l’ “A” maiuscola nel singolo maschile di pattinaggio di figura.
Mi raccomando! Il px anno VANCOUVER 2010 bisogna puntare alla medaglia: faresti scacco matto!!!! però li bisognerebbe infilare il QUADRUPLO TOLUP. Eh sì! Siccome non hai per nulla difficoltà con i salti, hai tecnica e potenza, il quadruplo lo farai eccome.
Allora Forza SAMUEL … E’ un grande onore ad averti ITALIA

When I first saw you skating at Euros this year I became a big fan! You were very impressing and entertaining.
I was very happy to see you live at the challenge cup in The Hague. You were very friendly! Unfortunately my picture with you failed and I forgot to ask an autograph. But it doesn’t matter, I had a great evening watching you and the others! Hopefully I’ll see you again next year in The Hague.

Vorrei sapere a quali gare internazionali parteciperà Samuel Contesti nel 2009 – 2010, oltre alle Olimpiadi di Vancouver. Ha un talento artistico incredibile, le sue gare mi emozionano tanto per come sa interpretare la musica sempre in modo originale. Mi aveva colpito molto la scelta della musica e dei passi del programma corto della stagione 2008 – 2009, Il valzer dei mostri. Quest’anno il programma lungo, con quella bellissima musica andina, sarà ancora più emozionante. E’ più che un pattinatore, è un artista .. un attore, un interprete delicato che fa sognare.

I am a fan of Yuna Kim of South Korea, so I watched 2009 World Championship in Los Angel.
At there, I could also watch you.
When I was watching your performance, I couldn’t experess anything. It was Fantastic! Amazing!
I am poor at English, so it is hard to say what I was impressed.
But, please remember,,,,
there are also many fans in Korea on the other side of the world.
I think that you are the Best Figure Skater who makes the audience happy.
